How can you work from home with little or no experience? Maybe you are just starting out trying to find employment, or you have been working out in the real world. Younger people often ask me what kind of jobs they can find working from home, and many of these candidates have minimal experience or skills. This article will go over different entry-level jobs that you may be interested in and require no previous knowledge or skillset.
Customer Service Representative – CVS
Like most other well-known brands, CVS also has a customer service department. Make sure that you are applying for this job directly from the company’s website, jobs.cvshealth.com. If you are unsure if it is a work-from-home position, then check at the top of the application, and it should say: Remote: Fully remote.
Make sure to read through the entire job description to know what type of duties you will have on the job. Customer service jobs are typically offered in many different departments for large companies. It is vital to know which department you will be in to know what types of issues you may have to resolve. There are two requirements for this job. The first requirement requests that you are familiar with Microsoft Office products such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Most people are familiar with both of these programs, and if you aren’t, you can find some tutorials online pretty easily. The other requirement is high-speed internet access, which you need for any work-from-home job. If you think this job might be a fit for you, you can apply online here.

Telephone Interviewer
This is another phone job, but most entry-level jobs available will be calling or receiving calls. If you don’t want to receive inbound calls or make sales calls, this might be a decent or ideal job for you. The job posting I found is offered by a company called Recon MR. Remember that you will more than likely need to have no noise or a quiet background to make calls. This job is limited to Texas residents only.
All you have to do is call people, get them to talk to you, and interview them on various topics. Even better, you read verbatim from a script, so you don’t have to try to think of things to say. They boast that there are never any sales or collections and that you are making a difference in the world with the work that you do. No experience is necessary and you even get paid training!
Here are the requirements for this job:

- Basic understanding of good customer service
Additional Requirements for Work-From-Home:
- Windows Computer

Their job description says that you can choose your own hours, but one weekend shift is required, and you must work a minimum of 18 hours/week and up to 40. If you think this job might fit you, you can find out more details and apply here.
If none of these jobs sound like a fit for you, I highly recommend that you check out my freelancing blog article and look into working for yourself. It might take some time to get to the pay rate you want or feel you are worth, but that is the only way you won’t start out with customer service. Even I started in customer service long ago when I first started working from home. If you have any suggestions or would like me to add a job to my site that your company offers (must be remote or work from home), then please send me an email.
